Environmental Impact

One to One takes the environment seriously.

Here at the shop, we’re working on reducing waste and implementing products that are eco-conscious. For years, screen printing has used materials that aren’t necessarily eco-savvy.

We’ve teamed up with the folks at Project 376 to reduce our footprint and make the biz less wasteful and all-around cleaner.

For the sake of the world (and our lungs), we’re reducing our impact every day. Here are just some of the moves we’re making at the shop to reduce our environmental impact. Have additional suggestions? We’d love to hear ‘em!

Screen printing practices used to be toxic.

Seriously, practices in our craft used to be dangerous, and no one was loving it. Now, we’re moving to water-based inks and water-soluble chemicals. We’ve also created an in-house solids filtration system that keeps any excess ink solids out of the drains, though everything we use has been deemed "drain safe".

Recycling? We’re about it.

Paper is so last century. We always request digital catalogues from our vendors. Boxes and packaging material? We reuse that stuff, too. As for our shirts, we offer USA-made, organic tees made from recycled material.

Dirty Name, Clean Mission

Our “Dip N Strip” dip tank allows us to reduce waste when cleaning off screens. In the past, cleansing screens was a huge water-sucker. Now, we’ve transitioned to a savvier process that’s natural, organic, and renewable.
